Dr. Bruce Ames, the developer of the Ames Test, will be on hand at 7:45 am on Monday, March 12 to receive the plaque for the SOT 2012 Landmarks Program. This test was developed by Dr. Ames and his colleagues in the early 1970s.
Please take time to attend the Plenary Opening Lecture on Monday, March 12, which features Leroy Hood, of the Institute of Systems Biology. Dr. Hood will talk about the challenges that face scientists in the 21st Century. The lecture will begin at 8 am in Exhibit Hall E of the Moscone Center.
