The University of Chicago Marine Biological Laboratory recently hosted the 28th Molecular Parasitology Meeting where scientists from around the world presented and discussed the major areas of parasite molecular biology research.
I am very thankful and honored to be chosen to receive the Diversity Initiatives Career Development Award through which I attended the Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) 2017 conference in Salt Lake City, Utah.
