In anticipation of the upcoming 57th Annual Meeting and ToxExpo, two of the organizations who have been exhibiting at the meeting for more than 40 years share their insights on the industry, trends over the years, and exhibiting.
Joshua P. Gray has been named the recipient of the 2018 Society of Toxicology (SOT) Undergraduate Educator Award. Dr. Gray received his PhD in pathobiology from Pennsylvania State University in 2003.
Hot Topic Session on PFAS added to 2018 Annual Meeting program and may serve as a model for a new session type in future years. In addition, a graffiti wall in the main lobby of the convention center will encourage attendees to share their thoughts on the meeting.
SOT Council has endorsed a pilot for the 2019 Annual Meeting in Baltimore in which one afternoon will be programmed with up to 14 90-minute sessions. Individuals can submit proposals for these 90-minute sessions through the normal submission process.
