Each year, with assistance from several Society of Toxicology (SOT) groups including the Specialty Sections and Special Interest Groups that share in the responsibility for review of the Annual Meeting proposals, an impressive program is developed.
A recent Federal Register Notice request comments on the candidates to the US EPA SACC. Among these candidates are 24 SOT Members.
Based on requests from SOT members, the deadline for providing comments on the draft SOT Issue Statement "The Complexities in Assessing the Risk to Public Health of Low-Level Arsenic Exposure" has been extended by one week to Thursday, August 24, at 5:00 pm (EDT).
SOT is developing an issue statement titled “The Complexities in Assessing the Risk to Public Health of Low-Level Arsenic Exposure.” As part of the development process, SOT membership has seven (7) days to provide comment and input on the draft version of the statement.
