The Supplemental Training for Education Program (STEP) generously supported my attendance of Bioinformatics for Beginners, a four-day, hands-on workshop coordinated through the Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences (FAES) at the National Institute of Health.
The Graduate Subcommittee congratulates two recipients of the Supplemental Training for Education Program (STEP) awards for this fall. These funds support graduate students who identify a training experience that will support their desired future career path.
The goal of the Education Committee Graduate Subcommittee is to develop and implement initiatives within the SOT and through academia, industry, and government partnerships to better equip graduate students in toxicology for productive and successful careers.
The Supplemental Training for Education Program through the SOT Education Committee Graduate Subcommittee afforded me the opportunity to attend the Center for Forensic Science Research & Education’s Postmortem Interpretive Toxicology course at the Chemical Heritage Foundation.
Through the generous support of the SOT Supplemental Training Education Program (STEP), I attended the Certara SymCyp: model-informed drug development workshop held in San Francisco, California, from July 10–14, 2017.
