Seeking Graduate Students to Provide Perspective to FUTURE Toxicologists at SOT Annual Meeting

By David Filipovic posted 03-03-2022 14:24

What is graduate school really like, and is it worth the trouble? What are some of the biggest challenges and some of the greatest benefits of enrolling in graduate school? How do graduate programs related to toxicology differ, and how can you find a program tailored to you? These are just some of the questions that graduate students will be answering in small breakout groups during the Undergraduate Student Meeting during the SOT Annual Meeting in San Diego on March 29, 12:30 pm–1:30 pm.

We are currently seeking graduate student facilitators for these informal discussions. If you are interested in connecting with undergraduates and providing them with your perspective on all aspects of graduate student life, we request that you complete this sign-up form by March 7. This event is a wonderful opportunity for graduate students to take their first steps toward a lifelong pursuit of mentoring. This lunchtime break from Scientific Sessions includes free pizza for all participants.

The Undergraduate Student Meeting is sponsored by the Faculty United for Toxicology Undergraduate Recruitment and Education (FUTURE) Committee and is only one of the special opportunities provided for undergraduates during the SOT Annual Meeting.
