SOT-AM21-Blog-575x88-17-01.pngRegistration and housing are officially open for the SOT 60th Annual Meeting and ToxExpo, scheduled for March 14–18, 2021, in Orlando, Florida. You can register and book housing through the newly launched 2021 meeting website.

If you requested a rollover of your 2020 Annual Meeting registration to 2021, SOT staff will be processing your registration over the next few months—you do not need to take any action and should not complete the online 2021 meeting registration form. When your 2021 registration is complete, you will receive an email confirmation. If you have not received a confirmation of your 2021 meeting registration by November 1, 2020, please contact the SOT Registration Department.

The Scientific Program and Continuing Education Committees are hard at work planning the 2021 scientific program, and the list of the 59 tentatively accepted Scientific Sessions and 14 Continuing Education courses is available on the meeting website. Other planning materials on the website include information on awards associated with the meeting and tips on securing a visa for those traveling from outside the United States.

While there is great uncertainty about whether large, in-person meetings will be possible in 2021, SOT is planning on an in-person meeting, but a task force is developing alternative scenarios for a hybrid or all-virtual meeting. Regardless of the format, SOT is committed to delivering high-quality scientific sessions and presentations and to providing a space for networking and connecting among the toxicology community in March 2021.

I encourage you to bookmark the 2021 Annual Meeting website and visit it frequently—we will consistently update it with the most recent information as we prepare for the SOT 60th Annual Meeting and ToxExpo.
