SOT congratulates our new members and those members who have upgraded their membership between March 2020 and August 2020!

Since August, 98 members have upgraded their SOT membership and 222 new members have joined the Society, including 74 Full members, 36 Associate members, 20 Postdoctoral members, and 92 Graduate Student members. New members become part of the worldwide SOT network of more than 8,100 members from 70+ countries. Members from academic institutions, industry, government, and other scientific organizations are committed to the Society’s vision of creating a safer and healthier world by advancing the science and increasing the impact of toxicology. A special thank you to all the Full members who sponsored new Full and Associate members, as well as to the research advisors and mentors who have sponsored new Graduate Student and Postdoctoral members. Your support of these new members continues to build and sustain a strong and vibrant society. Thank you also to the SOT Membership Committee for their diligent review of membership applications.

New members through August 2020 reflect those who were approved for membership as a result of applications completed and submitted by March 31, 2020, and June 30, 2020.

Is it time to upgrade your membership? Let your membership level reflect your professional experience in toxicology and take advantage of additional member benefits. Do you know someone who is due for an upgrade? Encourage them to submit their application by the September 30 to be included in the next review cycle. Nomination letters are now waived for current Associate members seeking Full membership status. I strongly encourage our Associate members to upgrade their membership today!
