SOT Seeking Comments on Issue Statement about Nanoscience and Advanced Materials

A draft SOT Issue Statement on nanoscience and advanced materials is available for review and comment by the SOT membership. The audience for this statement is SOT members that do not specialize in the covered topic and other scientists.

Comments and feedback on this statement will be accepted until 8:00 am (ET) on Monday, October 18. Provide your feedback via email to the SOT Communications Director Michelle Werts, who will compile the feedback and provide it to the statement’s Writing Team.

This Issue Statement is being developed by an SOT Council–appointed Writing Team consisting of Flemming Cassee, PhD, National Institute for Public Health and the Environment Netherlands; Alison Elder, PhD, University of Rochester Medical Center; Mary Gulumian, PhD, National Institute for Occupational Health South Africa; and Timothy Nurkiewicz, PhD, West Virginia University School of Medicine. This draft also was reviewed by members of the SOT Nanoscience and Advanced Materials Specialty Section.
