By all reports, the Graduate Student Leadership Committee (GSLC) planned an outstanding mixer for the students and postdoctoral scholars held on Sunday, March 11, 7:30 pm–9:00 pm. The GLSC is pleased to announce this year’s winners of the Outstanding Graduate Student Leadership Committee Awards. The winners are Azita Cuevas and Chad Brocker. Representatives from Regional Chapters, Specialty Sections, and Special Interest Groups were on-hand to provide information on how the students and postdocs can become more involved in these component groups. Moreover, there was opportunity for peer-to-peer conversations to help plan the activities during the SOT Annual Meeting, including Chat with An Expert. The purpose of Chat with an Expert is to provide students and postdoctoral scholars the opportunity to network informally with well-established toxicologists while obtaining career advice and meeting new colleagues.
