Bio

Dr. Samantha "Sam" Hall is a Senior Toxicologist at ICF in Research Triangle Park, NC. Her current work involves human health risk assessment, systematic review, chemical exposure, animal toxicology, drinking water contaminants, and PFAS. 

Prior to joining ICF, Dr. Hall conducted research at NIEHS and Duke University on brominated flame retardants and PFAS, using skills in analytical and environmental chemistry and in toxicokinetics. She also previously served as a volunteer science writer for The Environmental Factor and interned for the Duke University Environmental Law & Policy Clinic and for Environmental Working Group. She earned her PhD from Duke University in 2022 in Integrated Toxicology & Environmental Health and her BS in 2015 in Biology and Environmental Sciences.
