Postdoctoral Position at University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis

Jones. The University of Tennessee Health Science Center Department of Genetics, Genomics and Informatics is seeking applicants for a postdoctoral position in pharmaco/toxicogenetics. Qualifications: Qualifications include recent (no more than 3 years) PhD (no ABDs) and experience with forward genetic analysis of drug and toxicant effects in animal models. Background in statistics and experimental design helpful. The successful candidate will work with genetic reference populations of mice and will conduct experiments on toxicants such as paraquat, maneb, and MPTP. Experience with large public databases such as GeneNetwork is also helpful.
 
Salary will be commensurate with relevant experience and based on the prevailing wage for postdoctoral research trainees set by the US Department of Labor. The position includes an excellent benefits package.
