National Association for Biomedical Research Webinar: “Animal Law and the Animal Research Community”

The National Association for Biomedical Research (NABR) will hold a webinar on April 23, 2019, on “Animal Law and the Animal Research Community.” The webinar will take place from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm (EDT), and NABR members can participate at no cost.

Jerrold Tannenbaum, professor emeritus of veterinary and animal ethics and law at the University of California Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, will present on how animal law, including a development in animal activist legal theory, affects the research community. He also will examine how animal activists use animal law in contesting animal research and how the research community should respond.
