Upcoming FASEB Webinar: “Animal Research: Still Necessary for Understanding Human Disease”

The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) will host a webinar on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, entitled “Animal Research: Still Necessary for Understanding Human Disease.” The webinar will take place from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm (ET). Speakers Koen Van Rompay of the University of California Davis California National Primate Research Center; Nicola Mason of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine; and Corinna Ross of the Texas A&M University-San Antonio and the Southwest National Primate Research Center will share their views on the importance of animal models in research and will discuss their own research. They also will explore animal model selection, as well as the benefits of specific animal models.
