SOT is committed to excellence in toxicological education and has recognized educators in toxicology for more than 40 years. As a result, SOT bestows the Education Award to an individual who is distinguished in the arena of teaching and training toxicologists and who has made significant contributions to toxicology.
Like most SOT awards, nominations for the SOT Education Award should include the nominee’s abbreviated CV (10 pages maximum) and both a primary and a seconding letter of nomination from Full members of the Society. These letters should present in layman’s terms an analysis of the nominee’s significant contributions to toxicology and how they apply to the criteria of the award. Please note: the Awards Committee will review only the two letters required to complete the nomination; no additional letters will be considered.
If you have benefited from instruction by a superb educator or know someone highly reputable within the realm of education in toxicology who has made meaningful contributions thereto, please nominate this candidate for the SOT Education Award. Nominations are accepted online through October 9, 2019.
