Each year, the Toxicological Sciences (ToxSci) Board of Publications awards the Toxicological Sciences Paper of the Year Award to the author(s) of outstanding papers recently published in the Society’s official journal. The award is presented during the Awards Ceremony of the SOT Annual Meeting and includes a plaque for all authors and transmission of a cash stipend to the first author.
Papers eligible for this year’s award must have appeared in ToxSci between July 2018 and June 2019 (i.e., the 12-month period terminating with the June issue of the calendar year preceding the 2020 Annual Meeting). Authors may be SOT members or nonmembers.
The ToxSci Board of Publications will consider all eligible papers for this award, but award applications and nominations also are encouraged. Submissions should include a one-page summary that underscores the paper’s contributions to toxicology, which is a major criterium the Board of Publications will consider when bestowing this award. A copy of the article also should be included with the submission.
Interested parties may nominate or apply for this award online. The award deadline is October 9, 2019. For more information or to nominate or apply, please visit the “Toxicological Sciences Paper of the Year Award” web page on the SOT website.
