The Scientific Program Committee (SPC) anticipates a timely and cutting-edge scientific program for the SOT 59th Annual Meeting and ToxExpo, March 15–19, 2020, in Anaheim, California. As the abstract submission deadline approaches, we encourage you to review the tentatively accepted session titles on the SOT Annual Meeting website and to submit an abstract for consideration.

As a reminder, the Abstract Submission Site will be open through Friday, October 18, 2019, at 11:59 pm (EDT), and the cost is $50. The 2020 Abstract Submission Site may be accessed from the “Abstracts” web page on the 2020 website.

Please note that this is a hard deadline; several years ago, the deadline was moved from October 5 to the third Friday in October, which will remain the SOT abstract deadline moving forward. Timely submission of your abstract will ensure that abstract decision notices are sent by early December to all presenting (first) authors.

We are excited with the 2020 Annual Meeting host city, which features many entertainment options, including Disneyland and professional sports teams. Anaheim is served by three major airports: John Wayne Airport, Orange County; Los Angeles International Airport; and Long Beach Airport.

More information and FAQs on abstract preparation and submission are available on the “Abstracts” web page on the 2020 website. If you have additional questions, feel free to contact the SOT office at 703.438.3115.

SOT Council and the SPC hope you will submit your abstract for consideration in the upcoming scientific program, which promises to be successful.
