The Scientific Program Committee (SPC) is excited to announce a new activity debuting during the Annual Meeting in Anaheim: the TOX Presentation Corner. TOX in the name of this new venue pertains to Training, highlighting Opportunities, and fostering eXchanges of science and ideas. Located in the ToxExpo Exhibit Hall, this semi-enclosed space will feature short presentations on topics related to careers, research grants, education, and more.

The SPC has confirmed a varied roster of “mini-sessions,” which are 20 minutes in duration and include Q&A. The TOX Presentation Corner will host presentations Monday through Wednesday, with the first presentation beginning at 9:30 am each day and the final presentation beginning at 3:50 pm. The topics include grant funding, team science, networking, careers in academia, and careers in industry, as well as presentations provided by CDC/ATSDR, the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, and the European Commission Support to Research in Animal-Free Toxicology. For a complete schedule of topics, which is being updated weekly, please consult the SOT Event App or the Online Planner. Select the Agenda tab and filter by Session Type: TOX Presentation Corner to view the schedule for Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.

We invite you to visit the TOX Presentation Corner to participate in this dynamic new activity.
