Gary Ginsberg, PhD, is one of two recipients of the SOT 2016 Public Communications Award. The other recipient is Steven G. Gilbert. Dr. Ginsberg is a Senior Toxicologist with the Connecticut Department of Public Health.

Melvin Andersen, PhD, CIH, DABT, FATS, is the recipient of the 2016 SOT Merit Award. Dr. Andersen serves as Distinguished Research Fellow, ScitoVation LLC, Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, a newly created company emphasizing innovative cell based research.
