Iowa State University and Tuskegee University recently were awarded a NIH NIGMS R25 grant for a Toxicology Mentoring and Skills Development Training Program and are recruiting 15 mentors from industry and government.
This RFI from the NIH seeks inputs on a proposed new supplement to facilitate participation of women and socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in small businesses through the SBIR/STTR program.
In addition to Society of Toxicology (SOT) national awards, fellowships, and supported awards, the Regional Chapters, Special Interest Groups, and Specialty Sections of SOT confer a number of awards throughout the year to recognize the achievements of toxicologists.
A NAS November 16–17, 2016 workshop will focus on Personal Environmental Exposure Measurements: Making Senses and Making Use of Emerging Capabilities. This is the next workshop in the Board on Life Science’s Emerging Science in Environmental Decision series.
