Speakers in this Roundtable Session talked about the role of toxicology and toxicity testing in legislation and regulatory decisionmaking as well as the challenges that accompany the consideration of alternative test methods in a legislative framework.
Panelists on this session talked about recent advances in systems biology and related scientific fields and how these systems will change the way chemicals and drugs are tested for their risk to humans. They talked about challenges to fully implementing these systems and ways to meet the challenge.
