I hope all who attended our 55th Annual Meeting and ToxExpo in New Orleans enjoyed the fine food, extraordinary music, and, last but not least, the most recent scientific advances that were presented in our sessions. The last time the meeting was in New Orleans was more than 10 years ago.
Ocular toxicology—the field of toxicology concerned with the eyes and the visual system—has become a vital component of drug development, with just as much interest aimed at drugs that target afflictions of the eye, as detecting drugs with off-target effects in the visual system.
