SOT presents the Public Communications Award to an individual that has made a major contribution to increasing general public’s awareness of toxicological issues.
With assistance from several SOT groups, including the Specialty Sections and Special Interest Groups that share in the responsibility for review of the Annual Meeting proposals, an impressive program is developed that provides attendees with an opportunity to learn about emerging fields.
The Society of Toxicology has been dedicated to recognizing exceptional members with the Merit Award for over 45 years. This award is presented to members of the Society who have distinguished themselves from among their peers through a lifetime of contributions.
In addition to SOT awards, fellowships, and supported awards with an October 9 application/nomination deadline, the Regional Chapters, Special Interest Groups, and Specialty Sections of SOT confer many awards throughout the year to recognize the achievements of toxicologists.
The Nominating Committee for Honorary Members invites Full and Associate members of SOT to nominate a candidate for Honorary Membership.
