Based on requests from SOT members, the deadline for providing comments on the draft SOT Issue Statement "The Complexities in Assessing the Risk to Public Health of Low-Level Arsenic Exposure" has been extended by one week to Thursday, August 24, at 5:00 pm (EDT).
SOT is developing an issue statement titled “The Complexities in Assessing the Risk to Public Health of Low-Level Arsenic Exposure.” As part of the development process, SOT membership has seven (7) days to provide comment and input on the draft version of the statement.
The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has “launched a call” for approximately 200 scientists with expertise in food and feed safety and related issues. EFSA is a European agency funded by the European Union that operates independently of the Europe legislative and executive institutions.
The European Commission has launched a public call for expression of interest to appoint six independent scientific experts to the Pharmacovigilance Risk Assessment Committee (PRAC) of the European Medicines Agency.
