The Distinguished Toxicology Scholar Award is one of the highest honors SOT presents; it is awarded to a member who has made substantial and seminal scientific contributions to the understanding of toxicology.
The Undergraduate Education Subcommittee is pleased to announce a new grant to increase undergraduate participation in Regional Chapter meetings. Exposure to toxicology during an undergraduate career contributes to the success of recruiting these students into professional or graduate programs.
Endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) are ubiquitous in the environment and have been shown to adversely affect human health and ecology. I learned more about EDCs by attending the 11th Environmental Endocrine Disruptors Gordon Research Conference (GRC) held in Les Diablerets, Switzerland.
SOT offers several awards for undergraduate students considering a career in toxicology. Undergraduate Diversity Program and Endowment awards for 2019 have formally launched on July 1, 2018. We encourage students to submit an application and faculty to share the opportunities with their students.
