Richard D. Beger, MS, PhD is the recipient of the 2016 SOT Translational Impact Award. Dr. Beger is the Branch Chief for the Biomarkers and Alternative Models Branch, part of the Division of Systems Biology, at the US Food and Drug Administration’s National Center for Toxicological Research.
Steven G. Gilbert, PhD, DABT, is one of two recipients of the 2016 SOT Public Communications Award. The other recipient is Gary Ginsberg. Dr. Gilbert is the Founder and Director of the Institute of Neurotoxicology and Neurological Disorders.
Gary Ginsberg, PhD, is one of two recipients of the SOT 2016 Public Communications Award. The other recipient is Steven G. Gilbert. Dr. Ginsberg is a Senior Toxicologist with the Connecticut Department of Public Health.
Cheryl Lyn Walker, PhD, ATS, is the recipient of the 2016 SOT Leading Edge in Basic Science Award. Dr. Walker currently serves as endowed Chair from the Robert E. Welch Foundation and is a Professor and Director of the Institute of Biosciences and Technology at the Texas A&M University.
Warren Casey, PhD, DABT, currently serves as the Director of the National Toxicology Program Interagency Center for the Evaluation of Alternative Toxicological Methods (NICEATM) and the Executive Director to the Interagency Coordinating Committee on the Validation of Alternative Methods (ICCVAM).
