The Society for the Advancement Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science held their Annual Conference October 10–14, in San Antonio, TX. The conference attracted more than 4,000 undergraduates, graduate students, and professionals in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
SOT’s Undergraduate Diversity Program was an important experience in my scientific career path, as it allowed me to attend the 2010 SOT Annual Meeting. This was my first ever conference.
The SOT CDI is pleased to announce the 2018 recipients of the Diversity Initiatives Endowment Career Development Award. SOT recognizes that career development experiences facilitate successful entry of students into advanced degree programs and transition into the modern toxicology workforce.
