As chair of the Graduate Subcommittee, I am pleased to announce the selection of the most recent recipients of Supplemental Training and Education Program funding.
Through the generous support of the Society of Toxicology Supplemental Training for Education Program (STEP), I was able to pursue specialized training in nanoparticle aerosol science and the application of a novel in vitro aerosol exposure system.
The Supplemental Training for Education Program (STEP) generously supported my attendance of Bioinformatics for Beginners, a four-day, hands-on workshop coordinated through the Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences (FAES) at the National Institute of Health.
The Graduate Subcommittee congratulates two recipients of the Supplemental Training for Education Program (STEP) awards for this fall. These funds support graduate students who identify a training experience that will support their desired future career path.
The goal of the Education Committee Graduate Subcommittee is to develop and implement initiatives within the SOT and through academia, industry, and government partnerships to better equip graduate students in toxicology for productive and successful careers.
