In 2020, SOT will partner with film company WebsEdge to launch SOT TV, a video platform extending the reach of the Annual Meeting and toxicological research.
Council recently finalized the 2019–2023 Strategic Plan and is seeking feedback from SOT members. To provide an overview and help illuminate specific elements of the Strategic Plan, five webcasts describing the plan and its four priorities are now available on ToXchange.
Furthering the SOT strategic objectives to foster the integration of other scientific disciplines with toxicology and to increase partnerships/collaboration with scientific societies, SOT joins the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB).
The new SOT president is grateful for the enthusiasm of SOT volunteers, remembers the 56th Annual Meeting and ToxExpo, and shares the SOT Council’s ongoing plans to increase the impact and reach of toxicology.
The Society has formed two new task forces, which are charged with boosting the Society’s outreach efforts to other scientists. In addition, SOT Council met with EUROTOX leaders to assess how the societies can continue to work together to further toxicology.
