Did you know that the SOT Endowment Fund is actually a series of funds—currently 55!—where each is established for different purposes based on the interests and desires of the fund’s founder(s)? These funds help support various areas within the Society, including many Component Groups (awards especially) and toxicologists at all levels of their career. Last year, over $150,000 was distributed from the Endowment Fund to support the future of toxicology.
For those unaware of the specifics of each fund, the high number of funds can be overwhelming. In an effort to reduce this confusion, we are excited to announce the launch of a new search function for the Endowment Funds. Now, you can search the funds by keywords or filter by the fund’s purpose, career level that it supports, or Component Group that administers it.
This search function is available on the SOT website, and we encourage you to use it to peruse the funds and consider a donation to support the future of toxicology.
