The March 2024 issue of Toxicological Sciences includes two editorials that discuss mentoring the next generation of ToxSci authors and the Toxicological Sciences Paper of the Year. A forum article explains a biological questions-based approach to human chemical hazard and drug safety assessment while two #ToxSpotlight articles reveal how the yes-associated protein, a known liver cancer inducer, has different molecular interactions in mice versus humans and what 10 years of using key characteristics of human carcinogens in IARC Monographs has taught us.
