The April 2024 issue of Toxicological Sciences includes a Contemporary Review that discusses surgical smoke and its components, effects, and mitigation. It also features an In-Depth Review about the emerging role of hypoxia and environmental factors in inflammatory bowel disease, while a Forum article argues that evidence evaluated by EFSA does not support lowering the tolerable daily intake of bisphenol A.
