A new SOT membership app—available now in the Apple App and Google Play stores—allows you to access SOT resources, such as the membership directory, blogs, and more without the need to go through the SOT or ToXchange websites.
The new app is connected to your membership profile and the ToXchange online communities, discussions, libraries, and announcements, allowing you to interact with your friends and colleagues more quickly. Through the app, you can:
- Send direct messages to any SOT member
- Receive alerts when a Regional Chapter, Special Interest Group, Specialty Section, Committee, or other SOT group of which you are a member posts an announcement
- Read SOT announcements through the Communiqué blog
- Respond to discussions and share files with Committees and leadership teams on which you serve
To download the app, search “MemberCentric” in your app store. Once the app has installed, open it and search “SOT.” You will then be asked to enter your SOT credentials (user name and password). This is a one-time process as the app will immediately take you to the SOT content area when you open it in the future once you complete this process. If you have an Apple device, you also can change the icon that appears on your device by scrolling to the bottom of the menu tab in the app.
