The International Union of Toxicology (IUTOX) is hosting a webinar on January 11, 2022, at 9:00 am (ET) examining “Risk Assessment of Drug-Induced Liver Toxicity.” During this webinar, IUTOX President-Elect José Manautou will review basic principles of drug-induced liver injury (DILI), including the two main forms (intrinsic and idiosyncratic), standard and novel translational biomarkers of DILI, and evaluation of DILI risk during drug development. Information on genetic and nongenetic determinants of DILI susceptibility also will be presented.
