SOT Seeks Comments on Bylaws Changes by December 21

By Laurie Haws posted 11-21-2019 15:12

An organization’s Constitution and Bylaws should reflect the current workings of a society. During its November 2019 meeting, SOT Council approved the changes to the Bylaws, which are shown below. The changes to the Bylaws reflect the current Committee names. Please review the changes and send your comments to SOT Headquarters by December 21, 2019.

Suggestions and comments will be reviewed by Council in January and, when appropriate, incorporated into the Bylaws change ballot.

After consideration of the comments by SOT Council, the proposed Bylaws change will be submitted to the membership for a vote. Approval by two-thirds vote of ballots received within 60 days shall be required for adoption.
