28 Societies Participated in the Global Gallery of Toxicology

This year 28 societies from around the globe participated in the Global Gallery of Toxicology in the ToxExpo Exhibit Hall. Posters showcased the formation, key accomplishments, strategic initiatives, and current and future activities of the societies. SOT and these societies aim to increase the reliance of international decision makers on the science of toxicology to advance human health and disease prevention. The participating societies included Academy of Toxicological Sciences, African Society for Toxicological Sciences, American Academy of Clinical Toxicology, American Board of Toxicology, Inc., American College of Toxicology, Argentine Toxicological Association, Association of Government Toxicologists, Australian College of Toxicology & Risk Assessment, Brazilian Society of Toxicology, British Toxicology Society, Environmental Mutagen Society, Estonian Society of Toxicology, European Association of Poisons Centres and Clinical Toxicologists, EUROTOX, German Society of Toxicology, International Neurotoxicology Association, ISRTP: International Society of Regulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology, Italian Society of Toxicology, IUTOX, Japanese Society of Toxicology, Mexican Society of Toxicology, Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry, Society of Toxicologic Pathology, Society of Toxicology, Society of Toxicology of Canada (STC), Spanish Association of Toxicology, Teratology Society, The Toxicology Society of South Africa, Ukrainian Toxicology Society. The Global Gallery is now in its second year and will be repeated at the 52nd Annual SOT Annual Meeting in San Antonio, Texas, March 10-14, 2013.
