I am Luke Liu, a doctoral student in Dr. Wei Zheng's lab at Purdue University. My research focuses on metal-induced neurotoxicities and the role of the choroid plexus, where the blood-cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) barrier resides, in these toxic effects. The most exciting part about my work is that I will specifically target on choroid plexus (by tissue-specific vectors) and look at the subsequent changes in other brain regions, especially the neurogenic niches.
