The Society has learned that longtime member Steve Saunders, PhD, passed away on October 19, 2023, after a brief illness. Dr. Saunders spent his early career at the US Environmental Protection Agency and retired from Frito-Lay as the Vice President of Food Safety. Members are encouraged to read Dr. Saunders’s obituary.
