The July 2023 issue of Toxicological Sciences includes a Systematic Review that examines autophagy biomarkers and the effects of cadmium on autophagy and apoptosis, while a Forum article reviews the use of mechanistic pathways, such as adverse outcome pathways and mode of action, in hazard and risk assessment.
