SOT is a member-led organization that relies on the contributions of dedicated members who volunteer to create resources and run programs that benefit the full membership and help the Society advance its mission.

All members are invited to express interest in participating in the Society’s myriad volunteer opportunities, including serving on a Committee or in a leadership role for a Component Group (Regional Chapter, Special Interest Group, or Specialty Section); contributing to SOT communication activities; or volunteering during the SOT Annual Meeting.

Express your interest in serving by completing the SOT Volunteer Form (note: you need to log in to the SOT website with your SOT membership information to access and complete the form).

SOT Regional Chapters, Special Interest Groups, and Specialty Sections offer ways to engage and volunteer. Many groups are currently accepting nominations—express your interest through the volunteer form and contact Component Groups directly with questions or to discover other ways you can get involved.
