The Emerging Science for Environmental Health Decisions workshop, Metabolomics as a Tool for Characterizing the Exposome, is organized by the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) and is scheduled for May 28–29, 2015. This workshop will focus on how metabolomics—the study of the chemical fingerprints that cellular processes leave behind—could help advance understanding of environmental impacts on human health.
This event will feature presentations from a diverse group of the leading researchers and practitioners, along with panel discussions and Q&A sessions. This free workshop will be held at the NAS building in Washington, DC. Participants who can't attend in person can tune in via webcast.
