In addition to awards bestowed by the Society or its Component Groups or Committees, SOT acknowledges external awards and honors received by members on the “Member Accomplishments” web page of the SOT website. This page recognizes individuals who have been honored for their scientific achievements with prestigious national or international awards.
If you have received a national or international scientific honor or are aware of a colleague who has been bestowed such an accolade, please contact SOT Headquarters so that the Society can recognize these achievements on the website.
Awards conferred by an employer and other scientific achievements (e.g., grants, commendations, publications) should be communicated to your Component Group (Regional Chapter, Special Interest Group, or Specialty Section) for consideration for inclusion in the communication channels available to these groups.
