Have you ever wondered how safety evaluation for the inhalation route could be performed without the use of animals and how to leverage in vitro data to do so? Have you ever questioned how to couple novel in vitro inhalation exposure data to physiologically-based pharmacokinetic modeling to make better-informed decisions? If so, you should consider taking the PM11 Continuing Education course entitled Extrapolation in the Airways: Strategies to Incorporate In Vivo and In Vitro Data to Better Protect Human Health at the Society of Toxicology (SOT) Annual Meeting in March 2017!

This course will offer a wealth of knowledge on how experimental evidence generated using rodent in vivo models can be supplemented, or replaced, with alternative in vitro models and extrapolated to inform human in vivo conditions. Ultimately, attendees will have a better idea of the path towards the integration of new data sources into health/risk assessment. This course will benefit both established professionals and trainees. We look forward to seeing you at our session! For information on the entire CE program, please visit the SOT website.
