Senior Toxicologist, Avon Products Inc.

 Avon Products Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Toxicologist to join their Toxicology group that is part of their Product Safety & Integrity functional area. As a Senior Toxicologist, you will be directly responsible for conducting raw ingredient and product risk assessments in support of Avon's cosmetic, OTC drug, nutritional, nonbeauty, and insect repellant businesses. Must be self-motivated, possess leadership qualities, and able to independently organize work load and priorities to meet demands. Participation in Product Development project teams to provide guidance on safety strategy for supporting new products and technologies will be required. You will interact with various groups within Product Safety & Integrity to ensure sufficient supporting data are developed to provide safety assurance. You will be expected to have a strong proficiency in toxicology and risk assessment. You also will be expected to be an effective communicator across the organization to provide clear recommendations on various safety issues to both scientific and nonscientific audiences.
