The Society of Toxicology (SOT) has learned of the passing of Retired Full member Lawrence J. Fischer. He was Professor Emeritus, Michigan State University, Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology. Dr. Fischer joined the Society in 1981 and was a member of the Comparative and Veterinary Specialty Section and served on the now sunset Regulatory Affairs and Legislative Assistance and Public Communications Committees and the ongoing Awards and Scientific Program Committees.
