The SOT Achievement Award is presented to a member of the Society who, within 15 years since obtaining their highest earned degree, has made significant contributions to toxicology. This is one of the first awards envisioned by the Society and its recipients have achieved success not only early in their careers but throughout their careers.

Don’t wait until it’s too late! If you know a colleague who is within 15 years of receiving his or her highest degree in 2019 (i.e., MD, PhD, DVM, or other highest degree received in 2004 or later), please take the time to nominate that colleague this summer.
Similar to many of the SOT Awards, nominations for the Achievement Award should include the nominee’s abbreviated CV and both a primary and seconding letter of nomination from Full members of the Society. These letters should describe in layman’s terms an analysis of the nominee's significant contributions to toxicology and how they apply to the criteria of the award. Please note: The Awards Committee only will review the two letters required to complete the nomination, no additional letters will be taken into consideration.
Make this a summer to remember: nominate a deserving colleague for the 2019 SOT Achievement Award! Nominations accepted online through October 9, 2018.
