As the Society of Toxicology now is a member of FASEB, we are pleased to provide information to you about an upcoming webinar. Please join FASEB for a special webinar on Friday, December 14 at 2:45 pm ET on Achieving Work-Life Balance in a Scientific Career.

Between collecting data, conducting research, writing and revising papers for publication, submitting grants, mentoring students, serving on institutional and professional society committees, and assisting with peer review, many researchers have few opportunities to pursue activities outside of the lab, sometimes even a family! This webinar will provide tips on how scientists can maximize their time management skills and discuss various interventions and techniques to cope with stress and achieve work-life balance while still maintaining a successful career.

Speakers include the following:

  • Sharon Milgram, PhD (Director of the Office of Intramural Training and Education, National Institutes of Health)
  • Gail Bishop, PhD (Director of the Center for Immunology & Immune-Based Diseases, Associate Director for Basic Science Research, Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center, Professor of Microbiology and Immunology and Internal Medicine at University of Iowa Health Care)
  • Erika Camacho PhD (Associate Professor, Arizona State University)

Please note you must register to participate in this webinar. Any questions about this webinar can be directed to FASEB's Office of Public Affairs team at opa@faseb.org.
