The Society of Toxicology Regional Chapters hold Annual Meetings and webinars to provide a scientific forum for their members and the greater scientific community in their locale. Below are a number of upcoming Regional Chapter events that may be of interest to you.
Pacific Northwest 2015 Fall Meeting:
The Pacific Northwest Regional Chapter (PANWAT) will hold its 2015 Fall Meeting on Thursday and Friday, September 17–18, 2015. Thursday night events such as registration, a Speed Mentoring Workshop, and reception will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bothell, Washington. Friday events including speaker presentations, a poster session, and an award ceremony held at the Brightwater Education and Community Center in Woodinville, Washington. The meeting focus is “New/Alternate Species in Toxicology Research.” More information can be found on the PANWAT website.
National Capital Area Chapter Webinar:
The National Capital Area Regional Chapter (NCAC) will hold a webinar on Friday, September 18 from 9:00 am–12:00 pm EDT. The title of this webinar is “Looking Forward after 19 Years of the Endocrine Disruptor Screening Program.” This webinar provides a great opportunity to hear about the current status of the EDSP program from stakeholders involved with this effort as well as the different perspectives on its future direction. Mountain West 2015 Annual Meeting:
The Mountain West Regional Chapter (MWSOT) will hold its 33rd Annual Fall Meeting on Wednesday-Friday, September 23–25, 2015, at the Beaver Run Resort in Breckenridge, Colorado. The theme of the meeting is “Systems Toxicology.” This meeting is being held in conjunction with the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists Rocky Mountain Discussion Group and will start with a joint reception on Wednesday at 7:00 pm. Michigan 2015 Fall Meeting:
The Michigan Regional Chapter (MISOT) will hold its 2015 Fall Meeting on Friday, September 25, 2015, at the MPI Research Corporate Headquarters in Mattawan, Michigan.
