The Interagency Coordinating Committee on the Validation of Alternative Methods  (ICCVAM) will hold a public forum on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, from 9:00 am Eastern Daylight Time until adjournment [(Fed. Reg. 82(78): pages 19071-19073, April 25, 2017)] at the Natcher Conference Center, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland. Below are key dates related to this ICCVAM forum.

The Federal Register notice, agenda, registration, and other meeting materials will be posted as available on the meeting page.

ICCVAM’s goals include promotion of national and international partnerships between governmental and nongovernmental groups, including academia, industry, advocacy groups, and other key stakeholders. To foster these partnerships, ICCVAM holds annual public forums to share information and facilitate direct communication of ideas and suggestions from stakeholders.

This year's public forum will focus on an effort, coordinated by ICCVAM, to explore new approaches for evaluating the safety of chemicals and medical products in the United States.
