The Toxicology Education Foundation announces the availability of the 2016 Robert L. Dixon International Travel Award, which is offered every three years. The 2016 Award provides $2,000 to enable the recipient to attend the International Congress of Toxicology XIV in Merida, Mexico, October 2–6, 2016. This Award was established in memory of Robert L. Dixon (SOT President 1982–1983) as a tribute to his dedication to the field of toxicology and student training.
The main eligibility criteria are summarized below. Please read the entire application document for important additional information about applying.
- Applicant must be enrolled in full-time PhD study in the area of reproductive toxicology.
- Research Director must be a member of SOT, or can provide other evidence of recognized expertise in toxicology.
- Applicant must be a student member of SOT, or student membership is pending at application deadline.
